CARE GIVER

*male

Location: CCU St. Elisabeth Rehabilitation Centre, Panykworo, Bungatira

Working days: Thursday-Tuesday (5 days and 4 nights)

Duties:

  • Daily care of the boys in the rehabilitation center

  • Implementing of activities (sports, music, education, games, prayers)

  • Management of the life at the center (store keeping, medical care, report writing, budgeting for nutrition and welfare of beneficiaries, welcoming visitors)

  • Spiritual guidance and counselling

  • Weekly team meetings

Qualifications needed:

  • Experience in working with children.

  • Favorable are certificates in counselling, social work or education

SOCIAL WORKER

*male​

Location: CCU St. Elisabeth Rehabilitation Centre, Panykworo, Bungatira                          + CCU Office (Gulu City)

Working days: Mon-Friday (5 days)

  • Should be flexible to stay overnight when required (at least 2 times a week)

Duties:

  • Care of the boys in the Rehabilitation Centre

  • Implementing of activities (sports, education, music, games, prayers)

  • Counselling and Guidance

  • Management of the life at the center (store keeping, medical care, report writing, budgeting for nutrition and welfare of beneficiaries, welcoming visitors)

  • Organize community sensitization about GBV, Domestic Violence, Children’s rights

  • Identification of Beneficiaries & Assessment

  • Home Visits and Resettlement

  • Cooperation with schools, management of sponsorship program

  • Cooperation with local government and authorities

  • Participation and leading of weekly team meetings

Qualifications needed:

  • Bachelor Degree in Social Work

  • Experience in working with children (at least 2 years)

  • Driving license for the motor bike or vehicle
